Hello 3rd year students!
We have sent you the recipe for apple crumble, you can also add different fruit if you like. Also as part of the crumble topping you can add some oats or crushed almonds if you prefer.
Apple Crumble (a recipe from P7/6 and of course Lolli)
Ingredients for the crumble topping
300 grams plain flour
a pinch of salt
175grams of brown sugar
200grams of unsalted butter
For the filling
450 grams of apples (or more if you like lots)
50 grams of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of plain flour
1 pinch of ground cinnamon
Preparation
Preheat oven to 180c or gas 4.
Place flour and sugar in a large bpwl and mix well. Rub butter into the flour mixture and keep rubbing until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
Core and slice apples and place in an ovenproof dish and sprinkle over the flour, sugar and cinnamon.
Sprinkle crumble mixture on top.
Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes until crumble is browned and fruit mixture is bubbling.
Serve with ice cream, cream or custard.
Eat and enjoy!

Hi everyone!
I'm Lolli! I am having lot's of fun in Scotland. I am staying in Balornock Primary and I had some fun with Primary 4. They took me up a rope ladder to the top of a slide! Can you see me at the top......it is a long way down!!!
I am scared. I don't know if I can do this on my own!
